Why do my textures keep disappearing?
Cosmo Worlds and Cosmo Player look for your textures in the locations they were first applied from. If you save your work onto zip disk then decide to use a different computer in the lab, any textures that aren't on the zip or part of Cosmo Worlds' default texture palette may be lost. The best practice is to copy all the textures you want to use to your working directory on the zip disk before you apply them. Refer to Before you begin for further information.
How do I package my world if there are errors?
If there are any errors (such as missing textures as per above) then you cannot package your world. You must make a note of where the errors are and fix them. This usually means reapplying textures that are missing or finding the files on the hard drive and copying them to the location that Cosmo Worlds expects to find them. See Packaging for further information.
What do the yellow or red flashing lights in CosmoPlayer mean?
It means that either a required resource (texture, sound, movie) is not where it's supposed to be or there's an error in the execution of a script in your world. To find out more information about the error hit the forward slash key (/) in Cosmo Player to bring up the console.
Why are my billboard trees and people facing the wrong way?
Billboards are grouping nodes. This problem is caused when the child object in the billboard group is rotated. The billboard parent is facing the right way but the child object is not. When creating billboard objects it is best practice to create a face in Front View, turn it into a billboard and from then on don't rotate it. To fix a broken billboard you must select the child object and rotate it back so it's facing forward in the Front View.
Why are my billboard trees and people moving when I walk around?
Refer to the above question. Billboard movement is caused when the child object is moved instead of the billboard parent. Make sure you select the whole billboard group, not just the child objects.
